William Sweet is the President of Stevens & Sweet Financial, an accounting and financial planning firm located in the heart of downtown Tuxedo. The company assists about 1,000 clients in filing their business and personal income tax returns, building financial plans, and investment management. Stevens & Sweet was originally Gregory G. Stevens Inc., and is a founding member of the Tuxedo Chamber.

Bill is a Certified Financial Planner (TM) practitioner.

Before coming to Tuxedo, Bill was a Captain in the United States Army (Armor). He is a combat veteran and was awarded the Bronze Star for valorous actions in combat in Iraq in 2003. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Systems Engineering.

Bill is also the Treasurer of the Tuxedo Park Library and Trustee of the Tuxedo Historical Society.
